Evaluations of Audience Feedback

I asked around what people thought of my magazine and I will now summarise those answers

 Q1: What does the title suggest to you?

The answers for this were fairly the same people said it was a heavy rock magazine for men.

 Q2: What genre/type of music does the magazine focus on and how do you know this? 

The answers again were fairly the same for this, people thought the genre was heavy rock and most people could tell this by the colours and props used in the pictures and the design of the page.

 Q3: What makes the page look professional and what stops them from looking professional?

the answers were this were varied most people said the pictures and bar code and price and different colours made it look professional, made the magazine look professional. However the down side was spelling mistakes 

 Q4: how genuine does the front cover seem? 

the answers for this were fairly the same most people thought it looked very genuine and realistic.

 Q5: does the contents page simply inform or does it also manage to interest you in reading the rest of the magazine?

the answers for this was fairly the same most people thought it informed and was not complicated  but kept it towards the points. However some people said the writing could stand out a bit more and the layout could have been different.

 Q6: Does the article sound like a piece of journalism? if not what bits don't sound right?

the answers from people are mostly the same it does sound like a piece of journalism  but it has spelling mistakes on.

 Q7: Does the article layout make you want to read it? if not Why not?

most people said yes toward this because it was basic and it attracted the audience attention

I have edited this picture and put it into photoshop. I have then applied a black background and got a in design template from adobe.com of a flame i have maximised the flame size and put it at the bottom of the page. I used red and yellow and covered over one another to make a orange flame.

I have decided which pictures iam am going to use and i have chose these pictures because they maintain my genre of rock by the clothes and props worn by the people in the pictures. Also the personality of the people i have related to the profile and has help me chose the right people who fit the genre. This is because the colours and style of their own personal style i.e. blacks, greens, purples, blues, strange hair style. I have cut around these pictures and add them to my magazine.

I have taken my last pictures i will chose some of these to use in my print project.

two of these picutes i will use on my frongt cover and contents page this is gooing to be my japansse artist. i will cut her out and put her on my magazine.

this is just some plans of what will be in my magazine article however were it says avril i have had to change because the main article person has dropped out so i have had to adapt. apart from that i have done my planning and i will incorparte these idea's into my project.

this s my main page spread out and contents page i have filled it to make it real but my contents page i have made it diffrent but still a contents page. my colours will be decide depndent on my pictures.

this is my main page spread out and i have put down some suggestions of fonts i might highlight my text with also colours will probley be black and white but it is dependent on how my pictures turn out. Also i have sectioned it off so i can separate my work of what i will talk about.

Joe, you next need to take your photos and upload any sketched of your pages you may have completed. You need to get to work on the actual page layout of your magazine now.

colours

iam now on my real project and above is a colour sceme of the certain tuypes of colours i will be using in my project. most of my colours are dark purple black red yellow and orage to make them stand out and the font size are all diffrent. However the bottom image appeals to me hugely and catches my eye i think this is because its wild but signifies a story with big text and lots of quaotes at diffrent angels gives a random look towards it.

Joe,

Don't forget to also scan in your mock up of the contents page. Evaluate them a little more too. What is sucessful about them> What would you change? What have you nlearnt form this task?
Then carry on with your planning and research. You should be aiming to take pictures next week at te latest to give you plenty of time for page layour etc.

this is my final copy of my magazine i have used the images, edited them and placed them next to approiate story titles with signifant logos and title to issue it as a college magazine. Also I have used colours which relate towards my college logo and i aso have put a price tag on with a bar code to make it seem real. I have used diffrent titles and sizes to create more realism but kept colours simple towards the colours of a the college logo so it is recognisable. Now i have done my pilimary task i have more ideas for my real coursework task of course my task will be rock so colours and picturess will be diffrent with each person.

we have just started are peliminary task today. i knew exactly what i wanted to do in how to design it and what pictures i put in. i also planned my inside page and scanned that in which is above. however getting pictures was a problem so i had to adapt until i got some pictures that were related to my planning. in the end i used these pictures in my cover

After this i decide to put some font in i used a graffiti font for the title (above)  but used different size font of Ariel to create a int resting look
